CINGS Giving Circle
The annual Giving Circle within CINGS provides flexible philanthropic funding once a year to innovative, impact-driven causes. We welcome applications from registered nonprofits, for-profit social enterprises, and individuals who share our mission of enhancing US-China connection through strategic philanthropy.
With annual grants of $5,000 - $15,000 per grantee, we provide not just capital but community, mentorship, and catalytic momentum to help your impact grow where it matters most.
If you are interested in applying for a grant, please email: cings@chinainstitute.org
In 2026, we are giving a total of 100k RMB to two China-based non-profit organizations. One is 三江源生态保护协会, in Qinghai. The grant will support their initiatives in promoting zero-waste practices in rural communities and protecting local ecology. The other organization is 美境自然, and our grant will enable them to protect biodiversity in the tidal flats in Beihai, Guangxi and promote more eco-friendly fishing practices among the local communities.
We selected the 2026 grantees in collaboration with A Better Community (ABC), a partner organization with over a decade of experience in philanthropic advisory and donor education in China. Our members also paid in-person visits to the two organizations before the final funding decision.
Our Approach
What began as a vision to unite next-generation leaders has evolved into a dynamic community driving real change at the intersection of US-China relations. We're proud of the connections we've fostered and even more excited for the impact we'll create together. What sets us apart isn't just our programming—it's the intentionality behind every dialogue, every grant, and every connection we facilitate.
Bridging through action
We believe meaningful change happens when knowledge meets opportunity. Through our Giving Circle, educational dialogues, and grassroots partnerships, we create pathways for young leaders to move from conversation to concrete impact—supporting social innovators who might otherwise go unnoticed and amplifying voices working toward environmental protection and social equity.
Community-centered impact
We build with transparency, give with strategic purpose, and always stay curious about the changemakers shaping our future. Every initiative—from our flagship Giving Circle to our cultural programming—is designed to cultivate not just professional networks, but a community of leaders committed to building bridges across cultures and creating lasting, equitable solutions to shared global challenges.
