We are planning our first CINGS Lunar New Year fundraiser! First, save the date.

Concept: Celebrate over food and drinks, presentation by Ruoyi on mahjong origins, lessons for beginners, open games night. More ideas in the works with your help (see below).

Ticket price: $50-60 for general public, discounted for members

We are looking for one NY-based CINGS member to join the core planning team. Please let us know via email if you'd like to volunteer! (cings@chinainstitute.org)
We are looking for in-kind donations or sponsorship connections for the following.

• DJ
• Food (shareable like dumplings, dim sum, snacks)
• Desserts (LNY-related, like nian gao)
• Drinks (alcoholic or not)
• Prizes for raffle
• More cultural activities (e.g. fortune teller, calligraphy station) -- open to any ideas!
• Additional games (e.g. Doudizhu, Poker)
• Gift vendors
