CINGS Lunar New Year Party!

Celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse with CINGS (China Institute Next Generation), The Serica Initiative, and Chop Suey Club at the China Institute in NYC. This festive fundraiser features Mahjong, games, drinks, delicious food, curated vendors, and a DJ-led party atmosphere—welcoming everyone from complete beginners to seasoned players.

The evening begins with a Mahjong origins talk and beginner lesson (6:00–6:30 PM) led by Ruoyi and the Chop Suey Club team, followed by open games night (6:30–10:00 PM) with Mahjong (beginner & intermediate tables), poker, Doudizhu, and other board and table games. Enjoy alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, music by DJ SHUYÎN, and bites from Junzi Kitchen and House of Joy.
